About CVS

Hyndburn and Ribble Valley CVS was set up in 1998 and is a registered charity  and a company by limited guarantee.  We are part of a local and national network of over 200 CVS’s.

We are members of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA), National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), Lancashire Association of Councils for Voluntary Service (LACVS) and Volunteer England.

We are managed by a Board of Trustees made up of Elected representatives from member organisations.

We are here for:-

We provide information  and advice on all aspects of setting up and running a voluntary group,            including  funding, information, financial advice, and project management.

Development

Working with new and existing groups to help them develop new projects and expand their services and activities to meet local needs.

Funding Advice for Groups

Engagement and Representation
